The Durango LIFT TROLLEYS

The trolleys are a great way to get around the city without having to use your vehicle. No parking hassles, no parking meters, just step off at your favorite stop and enjoy Durango. The fare for everyone is 50 cents and the trolleys run every 20 minutes. The route goes up and down Main Avenue as far north as The Iron Horse and Days Inn. The trolleys are totally accessible and run Monday through Saturday. Call us at 259-LIFT (5438) for more information.

The Durango LIFT LOOP SERVICE

This service provides public transportation into the residential areas on a scheduled basis year-round. During the winter there are four mini-buses traveling to all the residential and commercial areas within the city limits. The loops run Monday through Saturday. There is an FLC evening service available Monday through Friday and a Late Night Bus on Fridays and Saturdays. Call for information at 259-LIFT (5438).

The Durango LIFT OPPORTUNITY BUS

This service is available to those individuals who are physically or mentally unable to access the loop or trolley services. The Opportunity Bus runs Monday through Saturday. Call 247-3577 for eligibility information or to schedule a trip at least a day in advance.

Durango Transportation

Durango Transportation is a public utility offering 24-hour taxi service and airport shuttle to all major flights. Regional shuttle serving Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory), Telluride, La Plata County Airport and Farmington Airport. Ask for shuttle service between other Southwest Colorado towns. Charter services also available. Tours available including Mesa Verde National Park with pick up from your Durango or Cortez hotel. Call (970)259-4818, 247-4161, 1-800-626-2066.

Pagosa Springs Public Transit

Pagosa Springs Public Transit service is Mountain Express. This service provides public transportation along the Highway 160 corridor from the downtown area out to the Turkey Springs region. This service operates from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, year-round. Call for information (970) 264-2250.

Pagosa Taxi, Inc.

Shuttle and 24-hour taxi. Serves Archuleta County. Transit to Stevens Field (Pagosa), Durango-La Plata County Airport and Farmington (NM) Airport. Sightseeing, tours, charters. Shuttle to Wolf Creek Ski Area. (970) 264-3600.
