The Durango LIFT TROLLEYS

The trolleys are a great way to get around the city. The route goes up and down Main Avenue as far north as The Iron Horse and Days Inn and will get you down to the train in Rio Grande Land. The fare is 50 cents or two tokens. Tokens can be obtained from downtown merchants. Call us at 259-LIFT (5438) for more information. All the trolleys are totally accessible.

 

The Durango LIFT LOOP SERVICE

This service connects residents with shopping and business centers. Fares are $1 and 50 cents for seniors. Call for information at 259-LIFT (5438). All the loop vehicles are totally accessible.

 

The Durango LIFT OPPORTUNITY BUS

This service is available to those individuals who are physically or mentally unable to access the loop or trolley services. One-way trips within the city limits cost $2. There are zone fares outside the city limits. Call 247-3577 for eligibility information. To schedule a trip, call at least the day before you would like to ride.

 

Durango Transportation

Durango Transportation is a public utility offering 24-hour taxi service and airport shuttle to all major flights. Regional shuttle serving Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory), Telluride, La Plata County Airport and Farmington Airport. Ask for shuttle service between other Southwest Colorado towns. Charter services also available. Mesa Verde tours include highlights of Mesa Verde with pick-up from your Durango or Cortez hotel. Train shuttle to and from Silverton. Pagosa Springs Public Transit

Pagosa Springs Public Transit service is Mountain Express. This service provides public transportation along the Highway 160 corridor from the downtown area, through the Fairfield core area and out to the Turkey Springs region. This service operates from 6:00 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, year-around. Call for information (970) 264-2250.
