Commission/Terms of Payment
Commissions
For recognized agencies, national rates are gross and fully commissionable at 15%.
Local rates are net and non-commissionable.
Our commissionable rates are $12.25 per column/inch daily and $14.75 Sunday. See the “National Rates” section on Page 3 for more information.

Credit Cards
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover & American Express.

Credit
Credit to advertisers is subject to approval.
Credit shall not be extended to accounts which are more than 30 days in arrears.
A 1½% service charge will be added monthly on all past due accounts. This amounts to 18% annual interest.
There will be a $20 service charge on all returned checks.

Cancellations
Advertising cancelled after the deadline will be charged at one-half the cost of the scheduled ad.

General Rate Policy
The Durango Herald offers rates on a yearly contract basis. Contract advertisers who fail to fulfill their contract will be subject to a short rate. Contracts must be signed to be in effect and are for one year.

3 times per week, for 4 consecutive weeks:

The charges below apply to process colors:
